Is that spring we feel? We may be cautiously optimistic, but it seems like patio weather is finally here. Take advantage of warmer temps by patio hopping for happy hour. Here’s where you can find us on pleasant spring and summer afternoons.

Sushi Guru

One of Plaza Midwood’s recent food additions, Sushi Guru, also boasts a cool indoor-outdoor patio for warm spring afternoons. Cocktails here are refreshing and inventive, usually featuring an Asian twist on classics. While you’re at it, grab some skewers or a roll to share.

Heist Brewery & Barrel Arts

Heist Brewery opened its massive second location at the end of February, and it’s finally warm enough to enjoy the outside seating. While the new space is still being built out (including a beer garden), there are still plenty of spots in the sun to enjoy a post-work beverage.

NoDa Company Store

Located in a renovated mill house in the heart of NoDa, the Company Store is a favorite for patio hopping — especially with the expanded outdoor seating area and a garden with porch swings to sipping away an afternoon. The store just released a frozen NoDa Colada signature drink with rum and coconut whipped cream.

Dilworth Tasting Room

Talk about an after-work unwind: Dilworth Tasting Room has one of the most picturesque patios. Relax after a long day with a glass of wine in their lush garden. Check it out on Tuesdays where you can get a free cheese board with a wine flight purchase.

Craft Growler Shop

Over in the Gold District, hang out on the gravel patio at Craft. When the weather’s nice, the garage doors are open and the beer (or wine) is flowing. Stop by on Wednesdays for $6 cheese and charcuterie boards.
