Feeling bold? Go full botanical bliss with floral wallpaper, tile, or upholstery. There is a wide array of applications from traditional chinoiserie scenes to modern, abstract patterns. We also are seeing homeowners think outside of the box with flower-inspired cabinetry cut-outs, detailed mosaic tile patterns with a vintage nod, and whimsical floral lighting. Extra points for creativity!
If you only want to dip your toe in the water for this trend, don’t worry. Adding small doses can still make a big impact! Consider pillows, area rugs, or artwork with a floral motif. Draperies and shower curtains are another fun way to punch up the petal power in your home. And, of course, the most obvious (yet still very effective) way to embrace this trend, is to bring in actual flowers. Nothing beats the fragrance of freshly cut flowers in your home.
