Paradiso

Located in Optimist Hall, Paradiso is a plant paradise filled with house plants, accessories, and home goods for both new and experienced plant parents. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that you can enjoy lunch or a sweet treat from one of the fabulous Optimist Hall vendors while shopping.

Campbell’s Greenhouse & Nursery

Located in SouthEnd, Campbell’s is a retail greenhouse with an in-house design team that can create eye-catching custom live plant decorative containers. Campbell’s is also well regarded as an orchid specialist and, as you may or may not know, our very own Genevieve is an avid orchid collector so it’s no wonder this spot makes our list!

PlantHouse

Stop by PlantHouse in Dilworth to enjoy a drink at the bar and stroll through their floor-to-ceiling plant jungle to pick out the perfect plant for your house. You can also B.Y.O.T. (build your own terrarium) or sign up as a group for a fun terrarium-building workshop.

Rountree Nursery & Supply

Since 1980, Rountree has been a family-run, full-service garden center that specializes in blooming and foliar annuals like azaleas, begonias, and gerbera daisies. In addition to being open to the home gardener, Rountree also has a commercial department for landscaping and lawn maintenance.

Malone’s Nursery

Malone’s Nursery wears the crown for Charlotte’s smallest greenhouse, but don’t let them fool you. They have a big selection! Malone’s specializes in succulents so it’s a great place to go if you are looking for a lower maintenance plant. In addition to succulents, you’ll find air plants, cacti, carnivorous plants, bonsai, and more.

The Gardens at Blackhawk Hardware

Blackhawk Hardware in Park Road Shopping Center has been a beloved home supply destination for years and their garden center is no exception. They have everything from plants and hanging baskets to yard decor and fountains. Plus, Blackhawk Hardware is dog-friendly so you can bring your pup along for ride.

This boutique plant shop snagged a spot in popular Camp North End and has curated a special assortment of hand-picked plants, planters, and other accessories like candles and baskets. We also love that Grow features pottery and other gifts from independent artists.
